Blue Cross Blue Shield Patients with CAROLINA ACCESS must be granted permission to be seen at The Pediatric Express by the primary care provider listed on the insurance card. If your child's assigned doctor's office is open when your child needs to be seen you must be seen in that office if an appointment is available. If your child is seen at The Pediatric Express and authorization is denied by your assigned doctor, you will be responsible for the office visit charges. Sports, camp, and daycare physicals are offered at a flat rate of $45.00. These visits are not billed to your insurance company. Flu shots are offered for children 6 months and up and FluMist nasal vaccine is offered for children 2 and up. Flu vaccines will be billed to contracted insurance companies however you may be responsible for a portion or all of the charges depending on your benefits.
